Esure home insurance offers its own enhanced home insurance no claims discount up to 45%. Esure home insurance recently hit the headlines with the announcement of a policy of not offering home insurance to ground floor properties in areas which are not adequately protected against repeated flooding. The aim of the policy was to prevent homeowners in low risk areas paying through their premiums for floods that could be prevented.

Esure home insurance policy offers alternative accommodation if your home cannot be lived in, new for old cover, protection for freezer contents up to £500 if you take out accidental damage under contents, and a 15% seasonal increase of your contents sum insured between 1st December and 15 January. Also included is a 10% increase of your contents sums insured for wedding gifts; 30 days prior to the wedding and 30 days after.

Esure will insure your title deeds up to £250, pedal cycles for up to £500, contents in your garden up to £1000, personal money and credit cards up to £500, and cover you for up to 60 days worldwide for personal possessions and other specified items.
