Norwich Union home insurance offer a host of discounts available to those taking out a Norwich Union home insurance policy; Norwich Union home insurance flexible plans offer no claims discounts of up to 50% for contents insurance, and 20% for buildings insurance.

Norwich Union home insurance offer to cover your building against loss or damage from fire, theft, storm, lightning, flood and subsidence, up to a value of £500,000; including damage to services, fixed glass and sanitary fittings, property owners liability up to £2m, accidental damage to fixed glass and sanitary fittings being included.

Under your Norwich Union home insurance policy your contents are covered up to £35,000 as standard, or up to £55,000 if required and your valuables are covered for up to £6,000, or up to £10,000 if needed. Their policy insures you for replacement locks, personal money, loss of oil/metered water, the food in your deep freezer, and more.

Cover is new for old (except clothing or linen), accidental cover can be added on to the policy, and you only pay £60 of any claim.

Norwich Union Legal Service can be taken out with the buildings or contents insurance options; covering you, and any family living with you, for up to £50,000 in legal costs to pursue your case.

Garden cover can be added to your contents policy and will insure you for loss or damage to your contents outside your home, but within your boundary of your property; this includes garden furniture, and children's toys, and cover for landscaping if your garden is damaged by fire, explosion, lightening, animals (excluding domestic), vehicles, malicious people, theft, or attempted theft.
